2011 Year in Photos

Air Force Public Affairs Agency

The U.S. Air Force has seen a lot in 2011: the last shuttle launch, the last troops in Iraq, and devastating natural disasters around the world. Through it all, our Airmen have continued to exemplify the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do.

Airmen continue to train so they are ready to meet challenges anytime, anywhere. In addition to readiness, our Airmen have the compassion and eagerness to travel the globe to lend a helping hand in Japan for Operation Tomodachi despite the time spent away from families.

We are ready to meet 2012 head on. As we look forward to the future, take a few moments to look at the 2011 Year in Photos to see our Airmen in action.
